Uganda’s online process produces an approval letter that functions as travel authorisation; final admission and the stay granted are confirmed at the border. The application asks for a passport copy, recent photograph, tour plan, travel booking and accommodation information. Documents should be in English, and immigration may request additional evidence during review.

How long is the approval valid before travel?
The tourist-visa approval authorisation is valid for 90 days from approval. If it expires before use, a new application is required.
Does the East Africa Tourist Visa include Tanzania?
No. It covers Uganda, Kenya and Rwanda only. Tanzania requires its own entry permission where applicable.
