The central Serengeti is home to the most established lion prides in Tanzania. Leopards use the kopjes and riverine belts bordering the lodge. Cheetah coalitions hunt the open plains. The Great Migration & Predator Theatre

When the Great Migration passes through the central Serengeti between July and October, One Nature Nyaruswiga is perfectly positioned. Wildebeest, zebra, and Thomson's gazelle — hundreds of thousands of them — move across the plains in front of the lodge. Predators follow. The drama is unlike anything else in the natural world.

We advise the right timing for your migration goals: river crossings (northern Serengeti and Masai Mara), calving season (southern Serengeti, January–March), or the massed herds of the central plains (July–October).
