This is a slower, fuller Tanzania route for the preferred green-season windows: two nights in Tarangire, two in the Ngorongoro highlands and three in the central Serengeti. It gives your private guide time to read each landscape rather than rush between them.

The route concludes with a Seronera flight to Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, timed around your onward journey. Every road transfer, game drive, camp stay and flight is coordinated as one private itinerary.

At this time of year, a great Tanzania safari is about depth rather than chasing a single wildlife event. Take time through Tarangire, Ngorongoro and the central Serengeti, then fly out smoothly from the heart of the Serengeti.

Day 1

Arusha

A considered arrival

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, where your private driver meets you and transfers you to Giraffe Manor Arusha or Aya Sophia Villa. Settle in, enjoy dinner and allow the first evening to remain uncomplicated before your private journey begins.

Days 2–3

Tarangire National Park

Two full days in elephant country

After breakfast, leave Arusha with your private guide and travel to Tarangire National Park. Game drive through baobabs, seasonal marsh and riverine woodland, with a picnic planned around the day’s wildlife activity.

Spend two nights at Elephants Lair, giving you a complete second safari day to follow the park’s elephant herds, birdlife and predators without moving camp. Three meals daily, house wines, local spirits, local beers, soft drinks, juices and water are included.

Days 4–5

Ngorongoro Highlands · Ngorongoro Crater

Highland calm, then the crater floor

After a final Tarangire morning, travel with your private guide towards the Ngorongoro highlands. Reach Lions Paw and settle in for two nights, placed close to the next day’s crater descent.

On Day 5, descend early into the Ngorongoro Crater for a private safari through grassland, forest, marsh and lake-edge habitats. Return to Lions Paw for a second evening. Three meals daily, local beers, soft drinks, juices and water are included.

Days 6–8

Central Serengeti

Three nights in the heart of the plains

Drive from the highlands into the central Serengeti, keeping the journey itself as a private game drive. Arrive at Jackals’ Lair Camp for three nights, with the time to explore the central plains at a more generous pace.

Across Days 7 and 8, choose the rhythm with your guide: early drives, a long day with a picnic, or a return to camp between activities. Three meals daily, house wines, local spirits, local beers, soft drinks, juices and water are included. A balloon safari may be added in the central Serengeti, subject to conditions and availability.

Day 9

Seronera · Departure

A considered fly-out

Enjoy a final central Serengeti morning before your scheduled flight from Seronera to Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport for your onward journey.

Your safari team reconfirms the exact flight and connection timing before travel, keeping the last day clear and professionally coordinated.

Optional balloon safari

Add a Serengeti hot-air balloon experience in the central Serengeti, subject to operating area, weather and availability. US$500 per person.

Rates are per person and based on the stated party size. A solo traveller rate applies to one guest; sharing rates apply from two guests. The scheduled Seronera-to-JRO or Arusha Airport flight is included; international flights are not included. A 15% discount is already applied.
