There is no responsible one-line answer. A private safari can look similar on a map while being fundamentally different in accommodation, park time, guiding, road or flight logistics and what is actually included.

How the days connect
Driving distances, internal flights, airport transfers and the number of nights in each place determine how much of the trip feels like safari rather than transit.
Guide & vehicle
A private vehicle and professional guide give your party control over pace, interests and daily game-viewing time. The party size changes the per-person share.
Park arrangements

Travel dates

Are the published Safari Offer prices final?
They are transparent starting points for the published itinerary and stated group-size basis. Final pricing is confirmed once we check your dates, rooms, internal flights and any changes you would like to make.
What government fees should I expect in Tanzania?
For the published 2026 non-resident planning schedule, Serengeti entry is US$82.60 per adult per 24 hours in peak season or US$70.80 in low season, and Ngorongoro entry is US$70.80 per adult per 24 hours. A Crater descent also carries a US$295 per-vehicle service fee. We reconfirm every authority charge for your final dates.
Why can a longer safari have a lower starting price?
Length is only one part of the cost. The stays, room category, travel dates, internal logistics, party size and inclusions may differ. Compare the full itinerary and price basis rather than the duration alone.
Does the cost include international flights?
International flights are normally separate unless your written proposal explicitly says otherwise. This lets you choose the most suitable arrival and departure flights while we plan the Tanzania-side journey around them.
Can we reduce the cost without making the safari feel rushed?
Yes. The most useful changes are often the travel window, stay selection, route structure or the number of nights in one area—not simply removing the time that makes the safari work. We will explain the trade-offs clearly.
How do private vehicle and guide costs work?
Your vehicle and guide are dedicated to your party. The operating cost is therefore shared across the travellers in your booking, which is why the per-person amount can change with party size.
When should we ask for a quote?
As soon as you have a likely travel window and an idea of who is travelling. Earlier planning gives more choice of stays and room categories; we can still advise honestly if your dates are closer.
