How the entry process fits your route

Applying online before departure remains useful when you want confirmation in advance, but eligible visitors can complete the process at the border. Your passport should remain valid for at least six months, and the purpose of travel must be tourism or another permitted short visit. Fee waivers and permitted stay vary by nationality group, so the current Rwanda Immigration list controls.
