This is a private road safari with a different sense of place each night: city comfort in Arusha, baobab country in Tarangire, three nights in the Serengeti and a final stay above the Ngorongoro Crater. Day by day
Each day has a clear purpose. Your private guide adapts game-drive timing to the conditions while protecting the shape of the journey.
On arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, meet your private driver-guide and transfer to Gran Meliá Arusha. Settle in, rest after your journey and enjoy your first evening in Tanzania at your own pace.
After breakfast, begin your private safari toward Tarangire National Park. Spend the day exploring its baobab-studded landscapes and elephant country before continuing to the Ngorongoro highlands for the evening.
Travel toward the Serengeti, with the journey itself becoming part of the experience. Arrive at Meliá Serengeti Lodge, settle into your room and enjoy your first afternoon in the plains.
A full day in the Serengeti with your private guide. Choose a dawn departure, a long unhurried drive, or a break at the lodge between wildlife encounters. Your guide shapes the day around the season and what is moving through the area.
Keep the day open for deeper time in the bush. The Serengeti changes hour by hour, and a second full day gives you the freedom to follow the most rewarding sightings without rushing back to the next destination.
Leave the Serengeti for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, pausing for a respectful Maasai community visit on the way. Arrive at Ngorongoro Meliá Lodge in the afternoon, when there is time to relax and take in the setting before dinner.
Descend early into the Ngorongoro Crater for a final private game drive. After an early lunch, continue by road to Arusha or Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward international flight. A late flight from JRO is recommended for a comfortable final day.
